“ಅಮೆರಿಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದುತ್ವ ಅಥವಾ ಹಿಂದುತ್ವವಾದಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯತೆ ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವ ಹಿಂದೂ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯದ ಆತಂಕಕಾರಿ ಏರಿಕೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತೀವ್ರ ಕಳವಳ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿ” 100 ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ನಾಗರಿಕ ಸಮಾಜ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿವೆ. ಹಿಂದುತ್ವವಾದ “ಈಗ ಅಮೆರಿಕಾದ ಬಲಪಂಥೀಯರ ವಿವಿಧ ಅಂಶಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಳವಾದ ಮೈತ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ನೆಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ.”

ನಾವು, ಕೆಳಗೆ ಸಹಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಗಳು, ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್ ಸ್ಟೇಟ್ಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಂದುತ್ವ ಅಥವಾ ಹಿಂದೂ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯತೆ ಎಂದೂ ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವ ಹಿಂದೂ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯದ ಆತಂಕಕಾರಿ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ತೀವ್ರ ಕಳವಳವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಈ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತವು 20 ನೇ ಶತಮಾನದ ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಜಿಸಂ, ಫ್ಯಾಸಿಸಮ್ ಮತ್ತು ಜನಾಂಗೀಯ ಅಧೀನತೆಯ ಇತರ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತಗಳಿಂದ ನೇರ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಮೊದಲು ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಯ್ತು, ಈಗ ಅಮೆರಿಕದ ಬಲಪಂಥೀಯರ ವಿವಿಧ ಅಂಶಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಆಳವಾಗಿ ಮೈತ್ರಿಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ತಮ್ಮ ನೆಲೆಯನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹಿಂದೂ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯವು, ಭಾರತದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತು ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್ ಸ್ಟೇಟ್ಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳಾದ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವ, ಬಹುತ್ವ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆದರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಒಡ್ಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ನಿಜವಾದ ಭಾರತೀಯ-ಅಮೆರಿಕನ್ ಬಹುಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯವಾದಿ ರಾಜಕೀಯವನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸುವ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಜಾತಿ-ವಿರೋಧಿ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರ ಒಕ್ಕೂಟವನ್ನು ಒಟ್ಟುಗೂಡಿಸಿರುವ ಭಾರತೀಯ-ಅಮೆರಿಕನ್ ಬಹುಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರನ್ನು ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಸುವ ನ್ಯೂ ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್ ಫ್ರಂಟ್ ಸವೇರಾದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಾವು ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ಅಚಲವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತೇವೆ .
ಹಿಂದೂ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯವಾದಿ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳು ಬಹುಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕತೆ ಮತ್ತು ವೈವಿಧ್ಯತೆಯ ಮುಖವಾಡದ ಹಿಂದೆ ಅಡಗಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬಹುದು, ಆದರೆ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಗಿಕವಾಗಿ ಅವರು ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳ ನಡುವಿನ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ ಬಂಧಗಳನ್ನು ಮುರಿಯಲು ಮತ್ತು ವರ್ಣಾಧಾರಿತ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲಪಂಥೀಯ ರಾಜಕೀಯವನ್ನು ನ್ಯಾಯಸಮ್ಮತಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ. ನಾಗರಿಕ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳ ಸಂಘಟನೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾಳಿ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೂಲಕ ; ಬಲಪಂಥೀಯ ವಾಗ್ಮಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಹಯೋಗ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು; ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ವಿರೋಧಿ ತಪ್ಪು ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಹರಡುವುದು; ಅಂಚಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಜಾತಿವಾದದಿಂದ ಸಿಗಬೇಕಾದ ರಕ್ಷಣೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿರೋಧಿಸುವುದು; ಮತ್ತು ವಾಕ್ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸ್ವಾತಂತ್ರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿಗ್ರಹಿಸಲು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ.
ಹಿಂದೂ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯದ ಆಳದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ವಿರೋಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯು ಪ್ರಬಲ ಜಾತಿಯ ಯೋಜನೆಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭ ತುಂಬಿಹೋಗಿದೆ . ಹಿಂದೂ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯವಾದಿ ಚಳವಳಿಯು ಭಾರತೀಯ, ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಏಷ್ಯಾ ಮತ್ತು ಅಮೆರಿಕನ್ ಮುಸಲ್ಮಾನರಿಗೆ ಹಾನಿಕಾರಕವ ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲ, ನಮ್ಮ ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ವಿಮೋಚನೆಯ ಮೌಲ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ. ಪರಮಾಧಿಕಾರದ ರಾಜಕೀಯವನ್ನು ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ವಿರೋಧಿಸುವ ಮತ್ತು ನಿಜವಾದ ಬಹುಜನಾಂಗೀಯ ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಹೋರಾಡುವವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದು ನಮ್ಮ ಜವಾಬ್ದಾರಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಹಿಂದುತ್ವ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯವು ನಮ್ಮೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಆಳವಾಗಿ ಚಿಂತೆಗೀಡು ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಾವು ಅದನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಬದ್ಧರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.
ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ನಾವು ಪ್ರತಿಜ್ಞೆ ಮಾಡುತ್ತೇವೆ:
- ಹಿಂದೂ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯವನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡಂತೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ದ್ವೇಷ ಮತ್ತು ಸರ್ವಾಧಿಕಾರದ ರಾಜಕೀಯವನ್ನು ತಿರಸ್ಕರಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ; ಮತ್ತು ಹಿಂದೂ ಪ್ರಾಬಲ್ಯವಾದಿ ಚಳವಳಿಯ ಸಿದ್ಧಾಂತ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರ ಬಲಪಂಥೀಯರೊಂದಿಗಿನ ಅದರ ಒಡನಾಟದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಅರಿವು ನೀಡುತ್ತೇವೆ;
- ಇಸ್ಲಾಮೋಫೋಬಿಯಾವನ್ನು ತೊಡೆದುಹಾಕುವ ಮತ್ತು ಜಾತಿಯನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲನೆ ಮಾಡುವ ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಹೋರಾಟದೊಂದಿಗೆ ದೃಢವಾದ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಲು ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ದಿಷ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಮುಸ್ಲಿಂ ವಿರೋಧಿ ದ್ವೇಷವನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಲು ಮತ್ತು ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್ ಸ್ಟೇಟ್ಸ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾತಿ ತಾರತಮ್ಯವನ್ನು ನಿಷೇಧಿಸಲು ನಡೆಯುವ ಚಳುವಳಿಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಬಲಿಸುತ್ತೇವೆ;
- ಮೋದಿ ಆಡಳಿತದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಒಡನಾಡುವಾಗ ಯುನೈಟೆಡ್ ಸ್ಟೇಟ್ಸ್ ಸರ್ಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಮಾನವ ಹಕ್ಕುಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಜಾಪ್ರಭುತ್ವವನ್ನು ಕೇಂದ್ರೀಕರಿಸಲು ಕರೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತೇವೆ;
- ಭಾರತ ಮೂಲದ ಅಮೆರಿಕನ್ನರ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯತೆ, ಒಳಗೊಳ್ಳುವಿಕೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಕೋನವನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಲು ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಕಾರ್ಯಕರ್ತರು ಮತ್ತು ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ನಿಲ್ಲುತ್ತೇವೆ.
